A WARM WELCOME TO CARLISLE RACECOURSE

We very much look forward to welcoming you to the racecourse and hope you enjoy your day with us.

Full details of the raceday protocol and the on-site facilities for Owners will be emailed to the registered Owner after your horse has been declared. Please check this information prior to arrival.

We ask that all Owners badges who wish to attend are booked through the Pass System by 9am on race day. If you are having difficulty booking your badges on the pass system please call the helpdesk on 01933 270 333.

We offer 6 badges for Sole/Joint owners. 8 Badges for syndicates which could be swapped for 20 General Admission tickets instead.

As per the numbers above we will provide parade ring access for owners in attendance. The first four horses will be welcomed back into the winner’s enclosure and connections of the first four horses are able to come into the winner’s enclosure. The winning connections will be presented with their prizes, which can then be picked up as you leave the racecourse at the Owners and Trainers Desk.

Please note that our site is cashless, However cash can be used at the Tote, William Hill and Bookmakers.
We will have race cards on the day but this information can also be accessed via The Jockey Club Race day App if you prefer.

Face coverings are not mandatory but if you wish to wear them indoors then please do.

When you arrive to site please drive to the North Car Park which is sign posted the Owners and Customers Car Park. From there you will come in through the normal hospitality entrance. Sue Murtagh will be on the Owners and trainers desk welcoming you in. On arrival Sue will ask you the below;

From there you go to the usual Owners room which is located to the right of the parade ring, we have opened this room up and connected it with the lawn suites. Here you will find:

Outside seating

Designated trackside viewing on our Head on stand, and Parade ring viewing.

Raceday at Home

For those of you unable to attend on the day you will be able to download a copy of our racecard which will be sent to you by the ROA. If your horse should win we will send a digital memento, winning photograph direct to your trainer. Our raceday photographer, John Grossick will be capturing images of the racing today. If you are an ROA member you will also be able to get a complimentary pass to Racing TV for the day to watch the racing. Please contact the ROA on 01183 385680 to organise your pass.
